Member Benefits
Every purchase you make using your membership card in one of our stores earns you loyalty points (excluding tobacco and fuel purchases). Your benefits are returned to you in the form of cash discount vouchers or bonus shares, depending on how much trade you conduct over the trading year.
As an extra bonus to members, when using your members’ card for purchases made within the Co-operative’s IGA and Liquor you will be rewarded with a loyalty voucher. Currently, once $2500 has been spent you earn a $20 voucher. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Co-operative’s Supa IGA, Cellarbrations, or Mitre 10 stores. This does not replace yearly discounts and dividends.
Become a member
To become a member of the Co-operative is easy. Simply follow these steps:
1. Fill in the application form available below and return it to either the Co-operatives admin office or our IGA Kiosk counter. You will be asked to purchase $100 in shares. From here your application will go to our Board for approval.
2. Once the approval has been given by the Board of Directors, you will then be issued with a member’s card and member’s number (which you will receive via mail).
3. Once you receive your membership cards you will be able to start using them at any of our stores! Your trade will be recorded, and benefits will start flowing your way!!
